DESCRIPTION / TASTING NOTE
A bright and lively white Grenarche from Priorat. Straw yellow in colour with aromas of apple and ripe pineapple. A marked floral character and mineral touches add complexity and elegance. Fresh and lively on the palate, the balanced acidity and bold fruit flavours give it it's length.
ABOUT PRODUCER
Morlanda winery, Viticultors del Priorat, located in Bellmunt del Priorat, is surrounded by just over 170 acres, with 47 acres of vineyards in current production. The vines are planted on select slopes and plateaus at altitudes between 500 and 700 feet, and range in age from 25-40 years old. The typical yield is under 1.25 tons per acre, low even for Priorat standards, but the intensity and concentration in the grapes are profound.
