DESCRIPTION / TASTING NOTE
Dark red. High-toned aromas and flavors of spiced plum, dark berries, mocha and herbs. Bright and fresh, with harmonious acidity framing and lifting the wine’s fairly intense fruit. Finishes with dusty, firm-edged tannins and good length.
ABOUT PRODUCER
The young and talented winemaker at Altivo Christan Garcia has crafted a beautiful wine from 80 years old vineyard in Cafayate in the province of Salta. The vineyard is planted on land purchased by the pioneering Eugenio Bustos. With the Andes ever present to the west, an abundance of pure "melt water" when required, the vines are nurtured by long sunny days, and cool nights. The vineyard is essentially organic. Given the pristine environment there is little need for more than a few organic sprays per year.
