DESCRIPTION / TASTING NOTE
The Selección Sauvignon Blanc is characterized by a respect for the natural fruit character of the varietal and an elegant approachability to the wine. Pale yellow color. Citrus and acidity is prolonged. The palate is dry with medium acidity. Soft mineral notes are a result of the fruit that comes from the Maule cordillera in the Central Valley.
ABOUT PRODUCER
The Correa family has been making wine on their family property for five generations with more than 100 years of experience to guide them. Their legacy in the Chilean wine industry dates back to the mid-1800s as one of the pioneering wine families in the country. Located in Chile’s famous Rapel Valley, Bodegas Tagua Tagua takes its name from the nearby city of San Vincente de Tagua Tagua. Farming vineyard parcels in the Colchagua, Cachapoal and Maule valleys, Tagua Tagua wines are excellent expressions of Chile’s varied terroirs.
